2. Dr. Kamau Thugge, chief of fiscal affairs and budget policy, is a senior advisor.
He holds a Master's in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Colorado College, and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Johns Hopkins University, all in the United States.
Along with former Treasury Secretary CS Rotich, he was accused of corruption while serving in President Kenyatta's cabinet.
3. Senior Advisor and Director of the Economic Transformation Secretariat, Dr. Augustine Cheruiyot
He is an economist by training, and he worked on Ruto's campaign as the chief adviser on agricultural and food security.
He will now hold the positions of Senior Advisor and Director of the Secretariat for Economic Transformation.
4. Dr. Laibuni is a PhD candidate in agricultural economics at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.
She has over 20 years of experience as a senior research and policy analyst in the agricultural industry.
Dr. Laibuni possesses significant expertise in food security, value chain analysis, public spending analysis, and agricultural public policy analysis.
