KRA Officials Leak Details Of What Is Happening After Ruto's And Gachagua's Orders

The Kenya Revenue Authority has slowed the crackdown on illegal and counterfeit goods, which has already harmed the market, according to sources.

A spot check at Nyamakima revealed that a package of 10 pairs of AA20 size (R6) Eveready batteries was sold for Sh400. Typically, this pack would cost approximately Sh1,000.

In a speech at Maua Stadium in Meru County, President Ruto told tax collectors that they shouldn't use force, destroy property, or close businesses to get back taxes. This has a big effect on them.
