800 Million: Amount of Money Being Spent On the Smallest Project in Central Kenya

Central Kenya is the new hub for new development projects. Billions of money are being spend either to renovate, establish or grow projects. According to a review done by Inooro tv on Sunday evening news. These projects are in line with the presidents big four agenda and will change the face of the region. However, one such projects is the construction of Maragua water project. Aimed to quech the thirst for thousands of people the project has attracted the public eye as one which is being over funded.

The project and which is in it's final phase is being constructed for a total of 800 million. Though it has now hit the billion mark. The project is being considered one which which not benefit the people of Murang'a at all. The Maragua people will continue to suffer under conditions of water shortage as the water is being directed to be used in Kirinyaga and Mwea.

Other projects taking shape and under the billion funding category include the Thiba dam project, the expansion of Kenol Marua road and the MauMau road.
