President William Ruto has assured to save Kenyans blacklisted on Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) within two weeks.
Speaking on Sunday, 16th October, 2022 during Interdenominational Church service, Green Kericho, Ainamoi in Kericho County, the head of state vowed to instigate the removal of millions of Kenyans blacklisted on CRB over the mobile loans.
"Give me two weeks and those who had been blacklisted because of mobile loans will be removed from that list" Ruto assured Kenyans.
However, he called upon Kenyans to work towards eradicating poverty rather than acquiring loans from mobile loans and expecting the government to save them from the menace.
"But you must work, nothing is for free and anyone who tries to steal government money will face consequences" he added.

During the . campaign season, Ruto had affirmed to abolish the loan apps that hype the interest rates and replace with hustler funds that will be availed for micro, small and medium business enterprises to expand the businesses.
