Kenya power and lighting company is a public limited company that owns and operates an electricity transmission and distribution system in the country. It also retails electricity to consumers throughout Kenya. Its headquarters are found in Nairobi but with other branches across the country.
The company was founded in the year 1922 by Harrali Esmailjee Jeevanjee and Clement Hertzel.
A few minutes ago, the giant company shared a tweet on their account information customers on areas that will experience the power intermission from tomorrow.
"Good evening our esteemed customers, the following areas are scheduled for power interruption dated tomorrow (22/5/2021)." the tweet read.
Below are some of the areas stated.
Nyahururu, Olkalau, Maralal
Tombe, Oyugis, Mosocho
Kitale town ,Entebess
Miwani, Kibigori, Chepsweta, Kondele, Migosi.
Kisii Town, Marani, Suneka.
From the list, it seems that counties lying in Nairobi, Eastern, North Eastern, and Coast region won't be affected by the interruptions.
