This was all brought of by Ruto's economic approach ahead of next year's polls in which he has been championing for an economic model known as bottoms up. He pointed out that the approach involves empowering small scale trades, such as hawkers and motorbike operators.
Due to that, he and the selected leaders who support him have been giving out wheelbarrows and motorcycles to unemployed youths in various counties as a way to empower them.
But Francis Atwoli wasn't pleased by that as he spoke,' Success is in decision making. Even at your own level as an individual, you must decide to marry and you must decide to have children'.
"You must decide to be responsible. You must decide to drive a mercedez and you will drive. If you make a decision to own a wheelbarrow, that will be your own. And who wants to have a child with a wheelbarrow?"
"So decision making is the key to success," he added.
Speaking infront of members of the press in Nairobi on Tuesday, he pointed out that there is no parent who need a child who a wheelbarrow and that he needs to decide on which he will drive a mercedes or wheelbarrow.
