Taking to his verified social media account on Tuesday 4th of August , the lawmaker has blamed hoarding of hundreds of millions in dollars by government leaders to be the reason behind slow appreciation of Kenya's currency.The leader further revealed that there are four Cabinet Secretaries who have allegedly hoarded millions of dollars in their homes.
To this , the lawmaker has claimed that the recovery of this stolen money will lead to rapid appreciation of the Kenyan shilling.
"Kenya's 2nd largest dollar reserve after Central Bank of Kenya is held/kept by Govt employees in their homes...imagine the hundreds of millions in dollars the 4 CS dollar Billionaires hoard in their homes...recovery of this loot will lead to a rapid appreciation of the shilling."Ahmednasir tweeted.
