Here are some of the most despised jobs which generates a profitable income.
Despite being one of the most overlooked jobs but it has since remained as source of hope for many unemployed but learned youths. One time in a KTN News interview, Lawyer Joyce Ngatia who is also a garbage collector said that the estimated earning for workers in this category pocket about ksh 500,000 a month from ten estates in Nairobi. Syokimau, Westlands and Imara daima are examples of place with good working environment.
It entails selling of second hand clothes, kitchen appliances and food commodities which earns a good income though it remains most underated business by many people. Depending on the choice of the location, t/s street vendor is make approximately 3000-5000 shillings daily. This will cater for the expensive rooms, food and fees if learning.
Nairobi being a congested area has a lot of vehicles that move from one place to another on daily basis. These vehicles turn to nearby car wash for cleaning as no one would drive a dirty car. It is estimated that am average of 100-300 vehicles get cleaned in one car wash totaling to 130,000 and above daily earning.
