Kenya is set to get its next toll highway after the Nairobi Expressway running from Nairobi all the way to Nakuru, the Nairobi-Nakuru Toll Highway.
Nairobi-Nakuru Toll Highway Construction has gotten a major boost as The International Finance Corporation, IFC has committed Kshs 39 Billion on the proposed project.

The project also known as Nairobi-Nakuru-Mau Summit Highway is a Public-Private Partnership project and The World Bank Group has listed the project as one of the key deliverables, underpinning its engagement with country under the Country Partnership Framework for Kenya (CPF).
The project will the dualling of a portion of the A8 Highway between Rironi and Mau Summit into a four-lane dual carriage and also strengthening of A8-South Highway between Rironi and Naivasha.

It is reported that that after its construction, Kenyans using it will be required to pay for tolling fees for an estimated period of 30 years.
