Many businesses people were left counting huge losses following the incident. One of the transformers fell on a bus creating high traffic jam on the road.
Speaking to the press, the business people have expressed their fear for more losses since they are not aware of when the electricity will be back and are force to close the Businesses early in the evening at time that attracts a lot of customers.
They also said that they are afraid of possible insecurity incidents as the area is currently in total darkness forcing them to close their businesses early.
They have gone ahead and urged Kenya power to make efforts to ensure that the light is back within the shortest time possible.
