Good News To Kenyans As CDF Set To Be Allegedly Distributed Next Week

Details emerging this late evening reveals that Speaker of the National Assembly Hon Moses Wetangula revealed that the Treasury is set to start distributing KSh 44.4 billion CDF funds from Friday next week after AG Justin Muturi sent advisory to National Treasury CS Njuguna Ndung'u to start disbursing despite being unconstitutional as per Supreme court rule.

"National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula says Treasury to start distributing Sh44.2 billion CDF funds from Friday next week. This comes after AG Justin Muturi sent an advisory to National Treasury CS Njuguna Ndungu to start disbursing NG-CDF despite being unconstitutional as per Supreme Court ruling." ~ Marigiri.

Following this, Kenyans online have raised concern giving different reactions basing on the Constituency Development Funds (CDF) as directed by Speaker of the National Assembly Hon Moses Wetangula.

"Impunity.CDF itself is OK and much welcome;but involvement of MPs in administration of the fund is obviously unconstitutional and bad for governance." ~ Albert Binale.

"We want bursaries, we don't care wether it's contitional or not." ~ Lenny Nyakwar Terry.

"The most visible especially at grassroots.thats the fund the common mwananchi feels.i have worked in a cdf committee be4 and I give first hand support to the NG -cdf." ~ Josephat Nyang'au.
