Mrs. Linnet Kathambi came on spotlight after he came out and volunteered to build a house for the frustrated Rahisi High comedian Mr. Joseph Kinuthia on stage known as Omosh. The woman build him a complete 3 bedroom house, he told the standard that this is part of a charity work she has been doing for years to build houses for the needy and homeless.
Linnet described how she build her wealth from scratch after loosing her job back in 2018 where she had been employed in a timberyard in meru. After loosing her job she began hawking construction materials from site to site. She now owens a timber yard and diversified into a building materials supplier.
She began the timberyard With about Sh500,000 capital which she pooled together from savings and from her husband's support, her first investment was on SUNG Timber. She narrated how she hustled to establish her client base, he had to move from site to site asking for orders.
Linnet told enterprise that her success came from plowing back the profits and diversification of her products. We started small but today, SUNG Timber is the parent company to Homes By Sung which deals with real estates constructions.
