In the country, there are more than three telecommunications which have been serving millions of Kenyans. Safaricom, Airtel and Telcom are well known in the country with millions of subscribers countrywide. The government have been issuing new guidelines to protect all Kenyans personal data through registration of all Simcard in the country.
According to the source, new details have just emerged about Call chargers. As per the report shared by Bussines Daily some few minutes ago, it has been reported that, the government is expected to control safaricom call chargers. The new move of controlling Safaricom call chargers in the country is to protect the small telecommunications firms.
Safaricom will require to charge fee to cover the only cost of interconnecting cost from other firms. Under the new regulations, safaricom will not allowed again to make profit from Mobile Termination Rate.
These are good news to all Kenyans because some charges will be suspended by the government under the new regulations. This also will help other small firms to make profit.
