Kenya is one of the fastest growing countries in Africa in the technology sector, it is currently running most of it's ministries technically which is relatively cheap when compared with the manual system, it is also one of the few countries in the continent that have launched their own setlite into space.
Currently the country is making modern laptops known as the Taifa Laptops in order to achieve it's dreams of becoming a manufacturing giant in Africa, they were first made in 2014 in Kenyatta University which has acted as the country's technology laboratory due to it's high class facilities.
The laptops are capable of competing with other laptops that are made by developed countries, they go at a price of 46 000 each and they are mainly made for learning to lower the Importation rate which is making the Kenya shillings to weaken against the dollar, the country is currently planning to increase the Taifa Laptops production.
