The network is now available in less than ten regional buildings and residences. Safaricom announced that the network is available in Nairobi, Kakamega, Kiambu, Kisumu, Thika, Kisii, Machakos and Kajiado.
Safaricom's new 5G WiFi only has a 3-month package, but that may change in the future. Monthly 5G WiFi is available in this package; At Ksh.3,500, the customer will get 10mb/s, 300GB, 40mb/s at Ksh.6,000, where the customer will get 500GB per month and finally 100mb/s at Ksh.15,000. Customers will get 100GB of data per month.
Customers must have a 5G WiFi router to get a 5G cable, which costs Ksh.25,000 and Ksh.5,000 for installation and the first subscription.
