Eliud Kipchoge's Special Earphones Worth Sh20,000

Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan, world marathon champion who has won numerous athletic awards and currently holds the world's marathon record.

Kipchoge's special earphones have captured the attention of many. Speaking during an interview by Gentlemen's Quarterly, he says that the earphones are really unique pointing out the label on them and his popular slogan of 'no human is limited' "These earphones are really unique. You can see it's written no human is limited, which is my slogan and I have signed it myself,” he told GQ.

Report reveals that the earphones are truly unique and different in several ways. First, they don’t actually go inside one's ear and instead they use bone conduction technology which involves sending vibrations to the inner ear without covering the ear. When he is running, he gets to listen to his favourite tracks without sacrificing his situational awareness to his favour. Secondly, they are very comfortable to wear, unlike ordinary headphones that can become irritating after a while. They also allow him to hear other pedestrians, passing cars or any other possible hazards on the road!

Kipchoge's earphones have also elicited mixed reactions. Below are some of captured comments on facebook. Share your views in the comments section.
