Safaricom has announced a sudden shutdown of all MPESA services from 11:59 PM on Tuesday night to 4 AM on Saturday.
The company has resorted into this to create time for maintenance of the systems. The public is therefore requested to bear with this to allow the company to maintain and improve the working conditions and services they render to their customers.
"Our MPESA services shall be undergoing planned maintenance tonight Tuesday 21st September 2021, starting from 2359hrs to Wednesday 0400 hrs. During the maintenance all MPESA services including airtime purchase shall be temporarily unavailable," the statement issued by safaricom read.
