Safaricom Drops a Major Warning Announcement

Kenya's leading mobile service provider, Safaricom has warned its customers against leaking pivotal personal credentials on the social media atmosphere.

Speaking via its official Twitter page account, Safaricom raised an alarm against sharing phone numbers and other fundamental private details such as Identity Card numbers in the comments section or when posting on its public timeline.

Safaricom underscored that this momentous warning announcement was aimed at championing privacy and safety of its customers against the heinous acts of fraudsters and conmen.

"We care about your safety and privacy. Do not share your phone number or any personal details like ID number in the comments section or when you post on our timeline to avoid being a target of fraudsters or comment," Safaricom stated.

The telecommunication company urged its customers to share their personal details when need be only via DM in order guarantee safety and privacy of these critical details.
