Safaricom, Kenya's largest telecoms firm, has eased many of its customers by announcing the implementation of two very simple criteria for transmitting money from one phone number to another.

According to the mobile service provider's official Facebook page, customers may now conduct money transactions from the comfort of their couches using the USSD code 334 and the well-established M-PESA software.

Safaricom has selected only dialing *334# or using the M-PESA app as the principal means for sending money utilizing these established conditions as the procedure to follow.

Safaricom emphasized the validity of these two criteria, claiming that they allowed customers to verify the phone number of the money's intended beneficiary before completing the transaction.

According to Safaricom, "Mambo ya kutuma pesa wrong number sasa unaweza hakikisha Tuma pesa ukitumia *334# or use the M-PESA App."

Safaricom has specified the URL below as the established method for downloading and updating the Mpesa app and conducting transactions with it.
