Good News To All Safaricom Users As Safaricom Makes This Major Announcement After Making A U-turn

Late last year Safaricom had said that there will be an expiry date for all Bonga points which amounted to a liability of sh 4.5 billion by March 2022. This meant that Safaricom users were to lose all the Bonga points that were of 3 years old and above.

According to the reports, Safaricom has reverted it's plan to introduce Bonga points expiry. The company disputed the claims that they had already introduced expiry date to the Bonga points. This latest claim goes against what was announced on November 2022 where the Telco company had said that Bonga points older than 3 years will expire on 1st of January 2023. Also, it has been revealed that Safaricom was forced to retract even the announcement on their website. This means that Kenyans will still have their Bonga points back untill Safaricom makes another change.
