It's obvious that WhatsApp is Facebook’s most popular instant messaging platform and possibly the most popular chat app in the world.

It works on phones, tablets, and PCs, and features end-to-end encryption support.

It offers several handy features that make it a must-have app on your phone, regardless of the operating system, including cross-platform support, which allows iPhone users to chat with their Android friends who do not have access to iMessage.

However Some smartphone users will not be able to send messages and snaps, or make video calls via the popular messaging service starting November this year.

Smartphone models with Android 4.0.4 or earlier installed will become incompatible with WhatsApp.

WhatsApp intends to delete 43 smartphone models from its service list.

WhatsApp released a long list of 43 smartphones operating on Android and iOS which will no longer be available on its platform beginning November 2021.

Users of affected mobile devices will have to update their mobile operating system or buy a new smartphone, the report said.

Top among Android phones that would be affected by the new development are the Samsung Galaxy S2, HTC Desire and LG Optimus Black.

Here is the full list that will no longer be compatible from November 2021.
