News just in indicates that one of the most used social media platform, Twitter has gone down in a global outage with users Unable to log into their accounts or even refresh their accounts.
According to Down Detector, most reported issues were on the Twitter App at 59 percent, its website at 33 percent and server issues at 8 percent.
The issues were reported in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Pacific region and Europe.
Reports indicate that the problem affecting the popular social media platforms is affecting the parents company's, Twitter Web, mobile and the company's Tweetdeck app.
However, Tweeter page claims that all system are operational and that the Twitter.com domains loads.
It is not yet clear on what might have contributed to this global outage as we wait for official communication from the company.
Technical hitches in these social media platforms are not very unique to one particular platform as some time back, even Facebook was affected.
