You Should Be Using These Google Messages Hidden Features

You can respond to SMS messages without having to type anything.

Google's Choices function, like Gmail's predictive answers, gives you useful suggestions for what to respond based on what's in a text you just received. Even from the notification bar, the Smart Reply feature will display you rapid responses. Enable the auto-suggest features you want to utilize in Chat by going to Settings > Suggestions.

You can send messages at a later time by scheduling them.

You can schedule messages in the Google Messages app to be sent later, just like you can in Gmail; no need for your crush to know you were thinking about them at 3 a.m. After you've typed your message, press and hold the Send button. Select the date and time you want it to be delivered from the popup menu, then hit the "SMS" button to schedule the message.

You may share your location with anyone in a matter of seconds.

Google's RCS technology now allows you to disclose your location with anyone in any discussion. Tap the Plus button above the keyboard and select the Location icon from the discussion. You can use this page to find a location to transmit to someone or to alert them of your current location using GPS.

Your favorite talks can be saved as pins.

You most likely spend the most of your time in the Messages app, engaged in one or more chats. The remaining emails are either one-time password reminders, timely updates, or spam. Why not pin your most commonly accessed discussions to the very top of your screen? To do so, tap and hold any discussion, then tap the Pin symbol in the top toolbar to pin it to the top of the screen.
