Safaricom to Shut Down these Services Today 10pm

Telecommunications provider Safaricom has announced that some of its services will be unavailable to users over the weekend.

In a statement issued on Saturday, July 24 , the giant Telco said some of its services will be unavailable from 10pm on Saturday adding that it will be upgrading its systems to help its customers much better."We will be upgrading our different systems to increase our capacity in line with the customer growth and support. More inovations to increase the different needs of our customers", Safaricom said in a statement. To allow for a smooth upgrade of its systems, Safaricom said it will focus on upagrade services including product purchases.

These includes, balance inquiry , Okoa Jahazi, Tunukiwa, all Bonga point services, and post paid payment. Safaricom also said that subscribers seeking to pay for their Home Fibre on Saturday will have to wait until Sunday 28 July at 8am.

All other services including calls, data M-pesa and SMS will remain available as usual ", Safaricom said.
