In Kenya, Safaricom can be described as the leading network line in Kenya. It has made a huge milestone since it was launched back in 2000, to provide its users with the best quality experience. Other network lines in Kenya includes Airtel and Telecom.On 26th of March last month, Safaricom announced that it will be launching it's 5G network across the country for it's customers.The trial is set to begin with Nairobi, Kisumu, Kisii and Kakamega counties. Two days ago, Safaricom also announced an upgrade of their system, which was to take place on the night of Saturday to Sunday morning.Safaricom further informed the public that the upgrade was to increase their capacity in line with customers growth. However, technicalities were experienced from different Safaricom users as some could not purchase their usual minutes talk.This morning, Safaricom users have woken up dissapointed after they found out that Safaricom data connection wasn't working. Many even restarted their phones but nothing could help. Responding to numerous complains, Safaricom PLC page informed the public that they are currently having a system issue which is affecting data connection and data bundle purchase. They however did not specify when the issue will be resolved.
