While serving prison terms many prisoners have tried to have contact with the outside World at all costs. Sometime this can be very dangerous to not only for their well being but all those involved.
A prisoner in Kosovo which is small country in southerneastern in Europe actually swallowed a mobile phone.
He had to be rushed to hospital on Tuesdsy evening, this was after 4 days, after he has swallowed the phone and when he couldn't get it thorough his faces he decided to report himself.
The doctors were really shocked after doing a scan and the mobile phone was sported , and an endoscopy was done on him, this means no surgery was involved it's just medical tools were inserted into the stomach and the phone came out in 3 parts.
The procedure lasted almost 2 hours and it was very easy without any complications. The mobile phone is an old version Nokia 3310 that was released in 2000, its really huge.
"It was the battery that concerned us the most .... the corrosive battery acid could have leaked into his stomach," he added.
He was later taken back to the prison clinic where he is recuperating.
