The mind is the central processing organ of human beings one needs to understand.
Your mind can play tricks on you, and your body will alert you to danger that isn't there, simply because, at one point you were in a situation that felt dangerous, and this response is the most familiar.
However, if we're going to revisit the past, let's see what else we can find there. Do you remember that challenging situation you got out of, even though you thought you wouldn't? Do you remember those problems that you thought you wouldn't overcome, but you did anyway? I remember those wishes and worries that dominated your mind. They seem so small now, but they weren't at the time, were they?
Our mind likes to remind us of what went wrong, rather than what's gone right. As your source of creativity, it often produces little mind movies, showcasing the worst-case scenarios; you know, in case you need more armour as you walk into the future. And, while the momentum is there, the mind loves to add life to these scenes, by exploding them into catastrophic events. Who needs to go to the cinema when you live in your mind, right? It doesn't need to be Halloween for your mind to inject fear where there could be faith.
People often associate success to money, academic achievements, careers, medals, trophies, material possessions, etc. However, when I look at your life, I see endless success.
Time and time again, you've achieved what you thought you couldn't. You've triumphed against your challenges, and you've manifested the things you once desired. Just take a close at your success file in your history cabinet, and you'll see what I see.
Take a deep breath and engage in the life ahead of you, right now, through your five senses. You got here on your own – despite all the challenges. So, you know that big thing you're facing right now? Well, if you've got a 100% success record, then I think you're going to be just fine.
