Now close to three days Safaricom and M-pesa services have been dragging making it hard for most individuals and businesses that rely on mobile money services to do their day to day money transactions. Most individuals have reported slow and difficulty in loading Kenya power and lightening company's tokens as M-pesa services are under maintenance across the country.
I for once paid my electricity through M-pesa a day ago and till date no message has been forwarded to my phone to load in tokens. The same case is happening almost everywhere as most individuals are also having it hard in bill payments and banking operations through M-pesa.
Safaricom network services have also gone down with data bundles being unaccessible to users resulting to inconveniences to those working from home. This has resulted to major step backs with most Kenyans outraged by the networks current state.
Through the customer service call, Safaricom has apologized to its loyal customers for the inconveniences caused during this time promising to work harder in making the network better.
