Okoa Jahazi, Bonga Points And Balance Inquiry To Be Unavailable To Safaricom Users

Safaricom Company CEO Peter Ndegwa reports that some of Safaricom services will be affected. In a statement issued on Saturday, July 24 service such as okoa jahazi, Bonga points, balance inquiry among others. In a statement issued on 24th of July, Safaricom said that it will be upgrading it's system to make it efficient and much better to it's customers.

To allow smooth upgrade of it's system, Safaricom said it will focus on services such as product purchases, balance enquiry, okoa jahazi, tunukiwa, all Bonga point services and post paid payment. In addition,those paying for their Home Faiber will have to wait till on Sunday 25th of July at 8:00am.The upgrade of the system is to begin at 10:00pm on Saturday,24th of July. However,all other services including calls, data , Mpesa and SMS will not be tampered with.
