Everyone has a past and sometimes this past dictates the present and perhaps the future too. The question remains, is the past that important to the future and do we even have to focus on it as we prepare for future?
The 2022 election campaign season is here and each political party has it's own ideologies that are convincing. Some are focused on changing the lives of the youths and bringing the youths into leadership as others focus on comparing the past with the present and constructing the future from that by avoiding the mistakes made in the past.
Gabriel Ogunda has alleged that this week they have told those who are giving them Kenyan History to stop because that can be found in National Archives. On the Saturday Nation of 2nd October, there is a published article with the title, "The Youth Want Recognition and Not The History of Kenya"
