His name is Allan Gichigi. He was born and raised in Coast region in Kenya. He holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Daystar University and masters in Film production from Canterbury Christ Church University. He is an award-winning photographer who specializes on documentary production and actually has worked as a consultant film maker, photo editor, event photographer and also a consultant photographer for UNICEF.
Allan started working in 2008 and he has done amazing work in the photography industry. He has been featured in Magical kenya advertisement showcasing Mt.Suswa scenic views. He has even won gigs with Vivo Energy company and Safaricom.
He has taken photos of notable people in the country like President Uhuru Kenyatta and Kenya Kwanza coalition principal, DP Ruto while in statehouse with his friend, musician Daddy Owen among others.
Allan rose to the limelight when it was discovered that he had shot the photo of Raila and Karua that went viral some time back. It is said that he shot at at his friends studio dupped, Q's studio because to him he doesn't have a particular place of doing his work just to satisfy customer's needs.
