There was drama in Butula,Busia county after a man who had failed to attend his Mother-in-laws Burial ceremony,was whipped Mercilessly by the wife's kins.
According to Taifa Leo report,the in-laws decided to give him a beating, on allegations that he disregarded the mother-in-law by failing to attend her send Off.
On the material day,the furious brothers- in- law went to the man's home carrying a whip.
"In-law we are not here to visit you,you are aware we were bereaved,we buried our mother recently but you failed to attend her burial,you didn't even bother to send your message of condolence,Why did you disregard our mother?.Said one of them.
It was reported that the man failed to attend the burial for fear of being chased away, because he was fond of abusing his wife and at the same time he never offered any assistance when the wife's mother was ailing.
He tried to Ask for time to defend himself,but the girls Kins could not listen him,they laid him down and whipped him severally,Until he excaped from their hands and run for safety.
In the meantime,the neighbors who were attracted by the commotion gathered at the man's place and watched the free cinema in disbelief.
