Many will remember him as the gallant blogger who revolutionized blogging as we know it today.
Bosire Bogonko was no doubt the best in his trade often publishing scandalous affairs about influential individuals a trend that made his website "Jackal News website" a favourite for many.
The website was basically an online tabloid often publishing controversies scandals that might have rubbed some people the wrong way. It's evident that his activities were not appreciated by all.
On an ordinary Wednesday in 2013,Bogonko mysteriously vanished never to be seen again. At the time he was strolling the streets of Nairobi.
His distraught parents are still hopeful that their son will one day be located. Apparently he disappeared at a time he was about to construct a house for them.
Despite the family filing a missing person report at the industrial area station, no meaningful progress has been made.
Strangely his brother identified as Elkanah revealed that for reasons beyond them, they were unable to retrieve Bogonko's phone records from the service provider.
Did one of his expose rub someone the wrong way? Who was involved and why? Is it time bloggers are protected by law?
It's time for his family and Kenyans in general to know exactly what transpired. Bogonko was no doubt the best and will forever be missed.
