For instance covid-19 pandemic has caused havoc and stress among the people of Kenya. They do not know whether they will be save in the next minutes or tomorrow. Many people have lost their livelihoods and their loved ones to the covid-19 disease.
To add salt on the injury, environmental issues has occurred in Kisumu City. Worried tenants and customers scampered for safety yesterday after one of the busiest building shook. After the incindence, a crack was formed on one of the floors of the Mega Plaza Mall.
A team of experts from the Kisumu County government is inspecting Mega Plaza Mall. "We want the experts to evaluate whether the mall is safe and in good condition for use," One officer said.
The plaza has two towers; one has 16 floors and the other 17 that houses various business units and a parking slot for more than four hundred cars. After the incindence, people who were outside the Mall fled for their safety
“We should not wait for a disaster to take action,” John Ouma, a resident, said.
