Kifo Muriuki, a man from Tharaka Nithi County shocked the whole nation earlier this week after reports emerged that he had put pepper in his wife's genitals and sealed them with super glue. He did this after arriving from Nairobi because he suspected that she was cheating on him.
Sadly, Kifo did all this in the presence of their three year old son. He also sealed her eyes and ears with sand and super glue and left her along River Kathita and escaped.
“She (the wife) was beaten by the suspect who also sprayed pepper, salt and super glue on her genitalia and later used a knife to push the said contents to her lady parts. Further, it was reported that he sealed her mouth and ears and left her for dead,” the DCI said on Twitter
The victim Charity Wairimu is now recieving specialised treatment in hospital.
The police have been on the hunt for Kifo Muriuki since Monday. Luckily, they were able to catch up with him and now the man is in police custody. The 30 year old brutal man was arrested at Kaningo, Kitui County.
It is quite a relief that the police have been able to catch up with him. We hope justice will be served.
