This is after he found her with another man in his (the other man’s) house in the evening.
Sefla Kerubo says she was in the house of her other lover when her husband attacked her, pulled her out of the house and bite her nose before he vanished leaving her bleeding, “He held me tight and pushed me out of the house. He then held my head and bite me then ran away.”
She was rushed to Busia County referral hospital where she was treated and discharged, “The doctor told me to go back to hospital after one day for check-up before they contact a plastic surgery on me.”
According to the woman, she has been living with the man for over a year now but they recently differed when she asked him why they have not been able to sire a child, “When I asked him that question he became angry with me and chased me. I went home in Kisii then came back and found this other man whom am now living with.”
Kerubo is now appealing to the police to arrest the man and charge him for assaulting her, “Am going through a lot of pain and I request the police to look for the man and arrest him. What he has done to me is criminal.”
The woman has however been accused by her neighbors for not being faithful to her husband, “Although what the man has done to her is wrong but she should also stop being unfaithful. You stay with a man for over a year then leave him and go to another one in the same area? That is not good at a lot.”
