High School and University Youth Arrested in Nakuru Shooting Pornographic Content

On Wednesday evening (22nd April 2020) Police officers arrested 21 youth who are alleged to have been shooting pornographic videos and photos.

The 21 youth included 8 boys and 13 girls. They are said to be members of a whatsapp group disguised as a talent group. The youth were both university and high school students.

The group was arrested in Milimani Estate, Nakuru on Wednesday evening as they were in violation of the social distancing directives.

It is claimed that a German national was behind the pornographic content that was being created, destined for foreign market.

"They will be prosecuted if they are found culpable because this is against the Kenyan culture."Nakuru East Deputy County Commissioner, Elmi Shaffi.

Police officers recoverd a camera which had videos and photos taken by the German national. The group was directed to KMTC quarantine center where they shall be detained for 14 days. This is with respect to the existing government instructions.

Brian Kamau, the leader of the group told Inooro TV that the group entailed of youth who helped each other nurture their talents in fields such as music and modeling.
