Security man killed after asking a customer to put on a face mask

Three members of a family have been charged in killing a security guard, Calvin Munerlyn, 43, who had told a customer at Michigan family Dollar store, to wear a face mask as it was mandated by the state to curb the spread of Corona virus. The deceased died at a Flint hospital after being shot on the head.

The three have been charged with first degree premeditated murder, alongside other charges like of not wearing a mask in a public place. Indications show that the deceased was simply doing his job in upholding the governor's executive order related to the covid 19 pandemic, for the safety of employees and other customers.

They got into an argument after the security guard told them to wear masks before entering the premise, but it seems to land on deaf ears, as the man proceeded to the counter, the security man later told the cashier not to serve them, not unless they put their masks on. They later left the store, and after 20 minutes they came back and shot the security officer.

The three are now arrested awaiting for their arraignment of charges which include, murder charge, charges of felony fire arm and carrying a concealed weapon.
