The family of a girl who was involved in a road accident along Mumias – Kakamega road with Kabras ward representative last week, is demanding for justice on allegations that the ward representative had sexually used the girl before dumping her.
It was alleged, that the two (suspect and student) were involved in accident while they were on their way back to town after spending their entire day in one of the lodging's in Kakamega town.
According to Charles Luvembe, victims’ father, the ward representative was suspected to have sexually molested their daughter for a long time before his evil was unraveled that fate full day.
"We chose him to serve us. Where were they coming from that evening before being involved in the accident?". Asked Charles.
He also called out to the government to take immediate action to the suspect to act as a lesson to those leaders with habits of sleeping with young school girls.
"We want the law to prevail, some of our leaders are stressing us in the pretext of helping thinking that they are above the law". He added
Seconding his father’s statement, the victim's brother has asked the education minister to intervene and take legal action against the ward representative as his sister might have been impregnated a scenario that will hamper his studies.
"We fear she might be pregnant, such leaders should be taken seriously to act as a lesson to those with such negative thoughts." Said one of the residents.
The two were involved in an accident in Kakoyi area that resulted to the death of one person, a bodaboda rider.
