Body of a Taxi Driver Suspected of Succumbing to Covid19 Picked In His Car

The body of a Taxi driver found dead inside his vehicle next to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) main gate in Juja has been picked by the Covid19 emergency team. It is not clear how the driver passed on with speculations having that the victim might have succumbed to Novel Corona Virus. However, the cause of his death is yet to be established.

Cautious enough of Covid19 risks, the team arrived dressed in Personal Protective gear to pick the body. A social media user identified as Mule wa Muendo notified the director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) of the body.

The incident comes after Taxi drivers were mentioned as potential covid19 spreaders. With the increase in Covid19 numbers, Kenyans have been asked to be cautious enough with the majority of Covid19 people said to be suffering from mild symptoms
