George Ouma ,a 40 year-old man,missed death by whisker after Oyugis Police rescued him from blood-preying residents after he admitted defiling a 4 year old girl in Kasipul constituency, Homabay County.The man was caught in action defiling a girl in the bedroom of her grandmother’s house.It is reported the man took advantage of the heavy rains witnessed on saturday evening and grabbed the girl when her grandmother went harvest rainwater in another house within the same compound.
Kawino Sub Location Assistant Chief Joel Owenga said the girl had gone to visit her grandmother and due to the heavy rains,could not go back home.That is where the man decided to take advantage of her.Owenga says that the grandmother caught the suspect red-handed committing the heinous act and raised an alarm to the locals who rushed to the scene with an intention of killing the suspect.Luckily the man was rescued by Oyugis Police and will be arraigned in court.
