India Crosses One Million Covid-19 Cases

India on Friday 17th July became the 3rd Country after the United States and Brazil to cross the one million mark confirmed Corona Virus cases.

This comes after a record single day high of 34,956 cases being confirmed on Friday 17th July bringing the total number of cases to 1,003, 832.

Death toll rised to 25,602 with 687 fatalities recorded on Friday.

Ban on flights from six cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, pune, Chennai, Nagpur and Ahmedabad has been extended to 31st July.

The state of Maharashtra is still a hotspot with the highest cases of more than 280,000.

The states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar, West Bengal are emerging as the new Hotspot with daily rise in new cases.

According to India PM modi, the fight against Corona virus in India has been made to be a people movement with the combination of efforts from both the civil society and the government.
