According to sources from local news, they revealed that State House is expected to release a statement on Monday June 15 about the issue where several of its staff members have tested positive for Coronavirus. According to the source, they added that some of the State House Officials have been hospitalized due to covid-19.
Last week State House officials had mass testing for covid-19 and now their is fear that the disease might spread to many Officials. Due to this, no staff Officials are allowed to access President Uhuru Kenyatta offices. However, the questions arise since the president hosted Madaraka Day celebrations and parliamentary group meetings in State House hence the threat might get worse.
Moreover, opposition leader honourable Raila Amollo Amollo Odinga addressed Kenyans after testing negative for coronavirus and urged everybody to get tested and urged Kenya Medical Research Institute to keep working hard on tackling covid-19.
