COVID-19:Hope In Sight As MoH Delivers The Following Good News

The ministry of health through its Principal Secretary PS Susan Mochache has revealed that Kenyans should expect the Covid-19 vaccine by February 2021. Speaking in Kisii early today on Thursday, December 3rd, Mochache has confirmed that apart from the ongoing trials, the government is in talks with other countries to find a way forward to make the vaccine available to the masses once they are delivered. Ms Mochache has asked citizens to be patient and calm as KEMRI is still conducting trials on the vaccine in collaboration with Oxford University under the COVAX Program.

"We are moving on well with the testing of our vaccination tests and soon, before the end of February, we shall have launched the jab. We are moving on with the conversation and we are on the right path in drawing up a road map on the administration of the vaccine once it is launched, "Mochache said.

Kenya has been listed among tge192 countries researching finding cure and vaccine for coronavirus. Over 300 volunteers in Mombasa alone and 40 health workers have been injected with the vaccine as the results are promising.
