Covid 19 cases have spiked up in the country recently and has brought a worrying trend of second wave of the pandemic threatening to hit the country.
However, Fear and panic has been experienced in machakos county , as students and teachers of a school has tested positive. It's reported that Muumandu Secondary School has recorded that some Form Four students and a teacher tested positive for Covid-19 virus which has wrecked the country.
The school’s principal, Mr Patrick Mwangangi , via a letter to the County TSC director of Education,also confirmed that 4 teachers came in contact with the boy and have been asked to self isolate and quarentine for atleast 14 days.
The Minister for Health, in the county Mr. Kituku confirmed the situation and said that it had been brought under control an an that parents, students and teachers should not worry and that they should observe strict Covid 19 protocals and the will be safe
