This morning has been one of the milestones moments to the Tuskys Supermarket employee after the retailer decided to refund recently implemented salary cuts to staff following interventions by unionised employees.

The sources record that Tuskys supermarket had implemented salary cuts of between 20 and 30 percent claiming to have reduced working hours from 45 to 36 hours in a week.
According to the information obtained from Citizen Television Kenya,This chain store has indicated it will compensate the deductions carried out between April and June in bits, that is in instalments beginning this month.

The decision to refund these dues comes after a dispute that landed the retailer into the Employment and Labour Relations court with staff sighting lack of prior engagement to this non tenderness act.
