Covid-19: 35 positive Covid-19 cases reported in schools

As we all know the government has been working hard in conjunction with the ministry of health and the ministry of education. The school re-opeaning was reconsidered when the covid-19 positive cases went down during the month of September. The covid-19 education response committee then came up with proposal of re-opeaning schools on October.

Now many schools have recorded positive cases of corona virus. We have seen teachers and students losing their lives to Covid-19. The ministry is urging the school fraternity to adhere to the covid-19 rules to protect themselves from the virus. The ministry of education is sending the health officials to schools and areas that have been affected by Covid-19 to help save lives.

“I get daily briefs by 5 am from our eight regional directors of education, who by then must have received theirs from county directors. So we have a daily update on any reported case,” PS Belio Kipsang told the National Assembly Education Committee as reported by The Standard.
