IEBC Receives Over 700 Applications For Vaccant Positions, Reveals The Following on Shortlistings

Following the recently advertised IEBC job vacancy to fill the position of four of its commissioners, IEBC's panel chairperson, Elizabeth Muli has revealed that at least 700 applications for the job have been received. 

While making the announcement, Elizabeth said that, the names of the applicants will be published next week before embarking on shortlisting.

The large application turn out may affect the way the interview will be conducted. This is after the Panel Chairperson expectations of undertaking the interview in five days [May 31st to June 04th]. However the panel expects to successfully select the four candidates who will be forwarded to the President on or by 09th June.

IEBC led by Chairperson, Wafula Chebukati has been operating with three commissioners [Abdi Guliye and Boya Molu] after colleagues resigned in 2017 [Paul Kurgat, Roselyn Akombe and Connie Maina].
