IEBC is currently doing interviews for polling officers, post polling officers and poling clerks who will help the IEBC in conducting a free and fair elections. This was after those who were qualified were given an opportunity to apply and try their lack.
Today they were at Bahati constituency offices at Kiamaina ward where youths come in great numbers to submit their documents. Later after submitting the documents there were rumours going viral over unfair selection of those who will get the jobs which raised attention. The youths demostrated where they were carrying billboards saying they don't want corruption in the system.
This attracted the attention of bahati constituency member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri who come to cool the furious youths. The IEBC officer had to come and explain how they will give out the jobs saying the will look at the requirements and where each applicant is a voter. Kimani therefore urged the IEBC official to first consider unemployed youths before employing teachers and other working people. What is your view on this?
