Noordin Haji is a Muslim guy who holds a strong position in the Judicial Service Commission. He was born in 1973 in the coastal region but since his parents were civil servants, he attended different learning institutions. His early life was full of school transfers and travelling up to the time he finished highschool.
That's the moment Haji decided to pursue his dream of becoming a lawyer. He joined University of Wales for the undergraduate degree and thereafter in 1997 achieved a masters degree in law. Immediately after that attained he enrolled in Kenya School of Law where he passed the bars and got the chance of being an advocate. In 2014 Hajj diversified from law career to National Security Policy degree from Australia.
At the age of 26 Noordin begun working with the public service as a State Counsel at Attorney General office. His experience and skills in this field made him stand multiple opportunities which took him to the next role of being Director of Public Prosecutions. He was appointed to this position by president Uhuru Kenyatta. His leadership here has brought high profile changes in this department. He has always focused on making the right, fare and just rulings that impact positively in implementation of laws. He's also in the front line to fight corruption, a great pandemic that's bringing down our economy and social welfare. Finally, Haji has been the motivator for digital transformation by establishing case management system in an aim to serve every citizen in a justified way.
